Have you heard of the Salior Stars Season? Yes...they were enver released in the US. You can only read them in the manga version of Sailor Moon (Which is good for people who have only seen the short lived American version when they were 5) or by watching the original Sailor MOon anime show (Which is in Japanese and I HIGHLY recommend it...that is, if you want a great flashback or still love Sailor Moon, which I do!) Also, htey now have a live action TV show on Sailor Moon called "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" It's fantastic! So if you're interested, I'd Google it and maybe you can buy or download the episodes of it for a test run. Lol ;D About the american version (Sorry, I've got a lot to say...I'm a Sailor Moon fanatic!), CN only showed seasons 1, 2, and half of season 3. All of seasons 3 and 4 have been dubbed so, technically, you could buy them in English. The american version MOSTLY did justice to the original series, but seasons 2 and 3 were terrible as both seasons were choppy and hard to follow (Hence why they are hard to understand), they cut out TONS of scenes that were important to understanding the plot, but may have had something not-so appropriate for we 5 year-olds. If you liked the american version a lot, then I suggest you watch the original (In Japanses, if you can stand subtitles). It's fantastic compared to the original, but of course...the american version will always hold a special place in our hearts...it was one of my first animes!

OMG for any anime you at least have to watch it in Japanese with subtitles, hopefully first (unless it's on TV, a.k.a out of your control). When my friend bought me the first Fruits Basket DVD I watched it in Japanese and it was awesome! Then I watched it in English and I got sooooo scared of all their voices, lol. Azumanga Daioh: The Anime was the same way for me. I think, unless someone is a bad reader or has some disability (like dislixea (?)), that they should watch anime in Japanese with subs.

I never watched Sailor Moon but I have two friends who used to watch them. One of them knows why the show was cancelled. She told me it's because the producers were changing the gender of the characters of the show.
What's Sailor Moon about?

You've Seen Fruits Basket!?! I LOVE THAT ANIME! I have the box set ;D and I'm buying all the mangas as they coming out...HEHE...ANYWAYS, DEFINETLY subtitles...some shows they do a good job of dubing though...however, it's always bugged me that sometimes the anime is different than the manga...because generally the manga comes first...you know? I'm just like "YOU'RE WRONG!" *points to anime* when that happens...maybe that's just me? I guess I've always been a die-hard manga fan, though...hehe!

Sorry for this double post ahead of time...ANYWAYS, that is true...in the Sailor Stars season (Season 5) of the original anime, there are guys who transform into women when they become sailor soldiers...I've always thought that was odd, but it never bothered me...I guess I never though about it @.@
